We ensure equitable entry points for micro-entrepreneurs into the formal economy that would otherwise be unavailable due to cost, location, and/or permits.
The Bizarre prioritizes our legacy vendors and West Philly residents.

The 2024 market season is 25 Saturdays from April to November, 10 to 3PM. Please see the calendar below or FAQ for exact dates.
There are no rain dates.
We rely heavily on grants and donations to run the market. This helps us keep vendor costs very low and cover vendor fees as needed. A small donation makes a huge difference!

We use a platform called Marketspread to manage the Bizarre. This is where vendors can apply to the Bizarre, buy vendor passes, and get market notifications.
And everyone can find the most up-to-date information on Bizarre dates and other market-related information.
