Vendor Priorities

At Clark Park, it is part of our mission to prioritize long-term vendors (some of whom have been vending here for 20 years), and Southwest and West Philly residents of marginalized communities and identities. This means that new vendors and vendors outside of these communities and areas may not get as many chances to vend.

The Bizarre @ Clark Park is on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. There are no rain dates.

Who can vend?

Vendors cannot sell the following:

Food, beverages, and/or consumables.
Counterfeit goods. You could go to jail under PA State law.
Illicit substances.
No socially offensive materials (Nazi or White Supremacy symbolism, or anything deemed offensive)
Live animals.

What does it cost?

All vendors pay a $10 application fee, then a $30 season fee upon Approval.

Each time you vend, it will cost either $15 for 1 table or 1 rack, or $25 for more-up to a 10×10 space.

How do I apply?

We use Marketspread.com as our vendor management platform.

Register for an account if you do not already have one.
Search for West Philly Bizarre and click the “Apply Here” button.
Make sure you read the Vendor Handbook!
Apply and pay the $10 application fee.
You will receive a response within a few days.

When do applications open?

Applications open to the public on March 1st.

Legacy vendors receive early access in mid-February via Marketspread invites.

Applications will close whenever we have big waitlists, which happens from time to time. We will not approve new vendors until the waitlists are manageable.

How do I know if I'm vending?

Due to the number of vendors, you will not be assigned for all the dates you want.

If you are vending, you will see your Marketspread status change to APPROVED, then to ASSIGNED once you receive a spot number. Pay your invoice on time or you will be removed from the lineup.

Any other status means you’re not vending. You will NOT be approved if you have overdue invoices or have multiple violations, like No-Shows.
